Utilize WiFi at the resort. WiFi is included.
AT&T Unlimited plans include Mexico. Voice/Text/Data will work as usual.
Verizon plans do not appear to include Mexico, but can be added as a roaming plan.
T-Mobile plans appear to include Mexico, but please confirm prior to travel.
eP will not reimburse roaming charges.
eP will reimburse airline wifi if needed for work purposes.
Disable Data Roaming on your phone if you are concerned about being charged for data while in Mexico.

Yes. A valid passport book is required for entry into Mexico. Your passport must be valid for the entire duration of your trip.

No. Guests are not permitted on this year's retreat.

No. In Mexico they use type A and B outlets like the United States. Each room at the Royalton Riviera has USB outlets as well.

Yes, all employees of eventPower are required to attend the meeting and group activities. It is also highly encouraged that you attend the evening group gatherings as well.

The average high's in January are 83 degrees and low of 67 degrees. Pack casual resort clothes for during the day, evenings, and meetings. You will also want to pack a bathing suit to enjoy the resort pools and beach areas. Be sure to pack appropriate and recommended attire based on your selected activity.

In January, Cancun will be on Eastern Standard Time, the same as Florida or New York (They do not observe daylight savings).

It is advised that you do not drink unfiltered tap water in Mexico. It is OK to drink water, sodas, or have ice at the resort as it's been filtered (You do not have to stick to a tequila-only liquid intake, but you can if you wish).

Yes, despite grim news about Mexico's drug-related violence, Cancun and the wider Yucatan Peninsula are considered safe. Be aware of your surroundings as you would in any location you are traveling to.

There are currently no travel requirements to enter Mexico. There are no COVID testing or proof of vaccination needed to enter.
